Compensation: $70k-$75k Annual Salary

Position Overview
The Growth & Operations Manager plays a critical role in strengthening both the growth engine and operational backbone of Impact Ratio. This individual will support capture and pipeline management efforts while also helping design, implement, and mature internal processes, policies, and quality frameworks.
This is an ideal role for a detail-oriented professional who understands how growth strategy, compliance, and operational discipline intersect within small to mid-sized federal contractors.
The position reports directly to senior leadership and will work across business development, proposal, and corporate operations functions.
Key Responsibilities
Growth & Capture Support
- Support opportunity identification, qualification, and pipeline tracking activities
- Maintain and manage CRM and pipeline data integrity
- Assist with capture planning, competitive analysis, and win strategy development
- Coordinate color team reviews and proposal readiness activities
- Support proposal development, compliance reviews, and submission logistics
- Develop and maintain capture artifacts (gate reviews, bid/no-bid documentation, SWOTs, pricing inputs)
Pipeline & Strategic Growth Management
- Maintain a disciplined pipeline management process
- Track and report key growth metrics and KPIs
- Conduct market research using tools such as SAM.gov, GovWin, FPDS, and agency forecasts
- Support development of growth strategies for target agencies and contract vehicles
Operations & Corporate Strategy
- Assist in developing and implementing internal processes and policies
- Document and standardize workflows across BD, proposals, and operations
- Support development of SOPs and internal control mechanisms
- Help implement scalable operational infrastructure aligned to company growth objectives
Quality & Compliance
- Support ISO and/or CMMI framework implementation activities
- Assist in preparing documentation for audits and assessments
- Track corrective actions and process improvement initiatives
- Help maintain quality manuals, process libraries, and audit records
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the organization
Qualifications
- 5–8 years of experience in government contracting (small or mid-sized firms preferred)
- Demonstrated experience supporting capture, pipeline management, and proposal development
- Strong understanding of the federal acquisition lifecycle
- Experience using CRM or pipeline management systems
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational discipline
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting ISO (e.g., ISO 9001) or CMMI implementation and audits
- Familiarity with quality management systems and process documentation
- Experience supporting IDIQ, GWAC, and task order pursuits
- Knowledge of small business programs (HUBZone, SDVOSB, 8(a), etc.)
- Experience working in a high-growth small business environment
